Parking Information
Free 2-hour parking and accessible spots are available in the adjacent City Hall Parking Garage at the corner of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. and Wayne St. Street parking is also available.
Accessible Parking with easy access to City Hall is available in the parking lot to the north of City Hall next to Key Bank. There is also a 15-minute visitor drop-off spot in that parking lot.

A new City Service Center is located in the lobby of City Hall to better serve residents. You can pay your utility bill, get a building permit, sign up for a program or access other City services in one convenient location. Interact in person with one of our liaisons if you’d like, or many of our routine services are now available to complete at our convenient self-service kiosk.

Who is still in the County-City Building?
All City services that were previously at the County-City Building are now at South Bend City Hall. St. Joseph County offices are still located at the County City Building, including these frequently requested offices and services:
- Area Plan Commission (zoning for properties located in the county)
- Auditor’s Office (Transient Merchant, Licenses for county addresses)
- Health Department (food service permits, birth and death certificates)
- Recorder’s Office (Register an assumed business name/DBA)
- Treasurer’s Office (Pay property taxes and get information about property tax sales)
If you need any of these services, please go to the County-City Building, not City Hall.
