City Announces Renaming of Board Today the City of South Bend announced the renaming of the board that oversees minority and women-owned business enterprise contracting. Formerly called the Minority Business Enterprise/Women Business Enterprise Utilization Board, the body is now called the Inclusive Procurement and Contracting Board. The board has also been restructured as a result of the 2019 Minority and Women Business Enterprises ordinance. The restructure expands the number of board members from 9 to 11. The members serve two-year terms.
