The South Bend Fire Department has announced more dates and locations for canvassing during the Sound the Alarm partnership with the Red Cross of Northern Indiana. On April 26-27, fire fighters joined Red Cross and community volunteers to install smoke alarms on South Bend’s west side. The effort will continue into the beginning of May at the following times and locations:
May 1 – 4:00-6:00 p.m. – Meeting place will be at Station 4
May 3 – 5:00-7:00 p.m. – Meeting place will be at Station 6
May 5 – 2:30-7:00 p.m. – Meeting place will be in the parking lot of Harrison Primary School on Kentucky St.
May 10 – 5:00-7:00 p.m. – Meeting place will be at Station 6
May 12 – 5:00-7:00 p.m. – Meeting place will be at Station 4
