CITY, COUNTY TO HOST LISTENING SESSION FOR OLDER RESIDENTS FOR THE SOUTH BEND REGIONAL AARP AGE-FRIENDLY INITIATIVE
The City of South Bend and St. Joseph County will hold a Listening Session on Saturday, February 18th from 9-10:30 a.m. at One Roof Southeast (The Southeast Neighborhood Center) to discuss the experiences and needs of older adult residents in the city and county. The session will focus social participation and communication and information, two of AARP’s designated “8 Domains of Livability.” Community partners will also be present to discuss opportunities for older residents to get involved.
Mayor James Mueller and other County and City elected officials will be in attendance, and coffee and donuts will be provided.
