 The University of Notre Dame is arguably one of the most visited university landmarks in the world. (A quick walk through the parking lot on a football weekend should confirm that.) We know for sure it is one of the most popular tourism attractions in Indiana. We take a great deal of pride and enjoyment in sharing the beauty and special mystique of the University with our many visitors.
But, just as Notre Dame is much more than its football legacy, South Bend is much more than Notre Dame. If you simply hopped off the Indiana Toll Road and walked the ND campus, you would certainly have an inspirational experience.  But you would be missing hundreds of great opportunities within our county. From the rich fabric of our distinctive neighborhoods to the thrill of riding the whitewater rapids of South Bend's East Race Waterway or the many other great attractions, dining and recreational experiences, there is so much more to see and do here than you ever imagined.
 I would also be remiss if I didn't tell you how much we love to have guests. We take pride in our hospitality and will do everything we can to make you feel at home here.
