The South Bend Silver Hawks are excited to announce the 2008 promotional schedule.  Twelve fireworks shows, over 15 giveaways, appearances by The Famous Chicken, Myron Noodleman and Jake the Diamond Dog, two School Days at the Cove, two Scout Nights, five Canines at the Cove and Pops at the Cove highlight the 21st season of the Silver Hawks.

The daily promotions include the return of B100 Dollar Mondays with $1 reserved seat tickets, hot dogs and soft drinks; WAOR Twofer for Tuesday with two reserved seat tickets for the price of one; U93 Wacky Wednesdays, featuring events such as Ugly Sweater Night and Speed Dating on the Corona Light Party Deck; Thirsty Thursdays, sponsored by WRBR The Bear, with $2 draft beers and soft drinks and the return of Friday Fireworks sponsored by 1st Source Bank and WNDU (starting May 9).

The Silver Hawks will host two School Days at the Cove, sponsored by Martin's Supermarkets and Oscar Mayer, on April 22 and May 6 with 10:30 a.m. games.  Schools are encouraged to sign up early for their preferred date.  Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts are invited to the Cove for the annual sleepover nights on July 11 and August 8, respectively.  Baseball will go to the dogs this season with an unprecedented five Canines at the Cove dates throughout the season, including the return of Jake the Diamond Dog.

The Silver Hawks will celebrate the Fourth of July holiday with five straight nights of fireworks starting on July 1.
 Fans will have the chance to receive a variety of giveaway items throughout the season, including magnet schedules, tree saplings, logo hats, pink logo baseballs, mini bats, plungers, fleece blankets, backpacks and much more!
