Downtown area
Howard Park, part of the East Bank Village, is enjoying the resurgence of urban residential apartments and homes with new construction by Weiss Homes adding to the allure. The downtown-area neighborhood includes the Howard Park National Register historic district, which features styles from Queen Anne to Prairie, Craftsman Bungalow and California Bungalow styles. Two are associated with Frank Lloyd Wright and two with the Studebaker family. Visits to Charleston, Savannah and New Orleans were the inspiration for the new Weiss homes. Each home is painted in wonderful, bright colors reminiscent of the "painted ladies." Weiss designs the homes and pricing started at the $170,000s with the top end in the $270,000s.
