Zoning complaints are also investigated by Code Investigators. Some violations include:
- Vehicles parking in front yard setback
- Over-sized vehicle parked in residential zones
- Operating a business in a residential zone
- Extensive auto repairs being performed in a residential zone
- Multi-family use of dwelling in an A-Residential zone
Departmental Procedures
- Due to the broad complexity of these violations, each problem is reviewed, letters are sent to the property owners and, if compliance is not achieved, the matter is set for a hearing before an Administrative Hearing Officer.
