The Michiana Free-Net Society in conjunction with the St. Joseph County Public Library and the City of South Bend is very excited about the wireless Internet Canopy over downtown South Bend.

Wireless enabled computers are able to connect at high speeds at places in downtown South Bend from Monroe on the South to Bartlett on the North, Lafayette on the West and St. Joseph Street on the East. Users will have Internet access at tables outside any restaurant, their car, or inside any restaurant or business that joins the project.
